Today Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch appears before the Senate Judiciary committee for his first day of confirmation hearings.

He's sure to get questions about his views on a woman's right to choose, LGBT protections, and civil rights.

Oh, and this letter, sent to the committee over the weekend by one of his former law students. An excerpt: "[Judge Gorsuch said] many women use their companies for maternity benefits and then leave their company after the baby is born. Judge Gorsuch focused on women having babies, not men expanding their families."
