Back to the Airport We Go

Back to the Airport We Go

Looks like Trump's Islamophobia grew three sizes bigger.

He just announced a new travel ban, which now includes Chad, North Korea, and Venezuela (in addition to the originally restricted countries of Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, and Iraq).  But this time it's indefinite, instead of 90 days.

With the announcement of this new ban, the Supreme Court has canceled oral arguments scheduled for October that would have determined the fate of the original ban.

For a detailed description of what this new ban does, see the Muslim Advocates fact sheet.  For a clear explanation of why this is still a Muslim ban even with the addition of new countries, see the International Refugee Assistance Project's statement.

(We're sure Stephen Miller had nothing to do with this.)
