Back to Managing A Carl's Jr.?
You know your nomination is in trouble when Oprah thinks it's a bad idea.
She dug up the tape of a 1990 show featuring abuse allegations by the former wife of Labor Secretary nominee Andrew Puzder (currently chief executive of the parent company of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's).
Add that to the guy's rep for stiffing his fast-food employees, exploiting women in TV ads, hiring a domestic worker illegally, and generally undermining the laborers he would be confirmed to serve.
Now four Republican Senators are having second thoughts.
