Read My Lips: No New Tax Returns
For some reason Mr. Trump really doesn't want us to know what's in his tax returns.
It doesn't help that he won't divest from his businesses, keep his kids out of White House meetings, or separate government biz from flashy fundraisers at his hotels.
All this prompted hundreds of concerned citizens to moon Chicago's Trump Tower this weekend in a pale call for transparency.
Rep. Bill Pascrell (NJ) is trying a different approach (fortunately). He dug up a really old law that gives House committees the power to review and make public anyone's tax returns.
No one has really heard of that law since no one has really needed it since the "I am not a crook" days.
